Student Assistance Program (SAP)

The Student Assistance Program (SAP) is a Pennsylvania-mandated, school-based initiative (K-12) designed to help students overcome barriers to learning—such as mental health issues, drug/alcohol use, or behavioral problems—to succeed academically. It is a voluntary, confidential process involving trained school staff who identify, refer, and connect students with in-school or community support.
